BCBSWNY Virtual Broker Meeting Table Talk Session: BlueCross BlueShield’s Response to COVID-19

As an extension of this year’s Broker Meeting, we’ve brought back our Table Talk breakout sessions in a virtual format to keep you informed of important updates and resources. For each session you attend, you’ll be entered for a chance to win one of three $100 Starbucks gift cards and a Blue-branded item!
COVID-19 has impacted industries across the world — and healthcare is among the most affected. Gerry Klopfer, Vice President and Chief Actuary, will provide insight into the direct and indirect cost impacts of COVID-19 on the healthcare industry and how we are adapting to best serve our groups and members. Gerry will also discuss projections related to infection rates, testing, cost-share waivers and vaccines.
In addition, Lauren LaMastra, Broker Program Manager, will detail what we’ve done to support the community during this difficult time.
